You get this message when your

cookies has not been enabled

from the system

have download them using your email client (Outlook Express, Netscape
Messenger etc) on to your computer. This normally happens when you are
using an email-id as a POP3 account as well as through Webmail. To avoid
your email client downloading your emails, you can either change your

configuring your email client. |

I am getting hundreds of e-mails
everyday from Mail Delivery System, all returned e-mails that I have never
sent. Why? |
| |
Most probably your system is infected with virus. Latest
viruses send e-mails without your knowledge forging Sender and Recipient
and bounces go to the Sender/Reply To mentioned in the email. You must
scan your system with latest anti-virus software and upgrade your email
client to the latest version. You should read the return mails to find out
the reason. |

|
|
In order to have a proof for
having sent a mail from my computer, how to send IP address of my machine
also along with mail? |
| |
This feature is already there in most of the web mail
services today. If you check the headers of a message, you can find
sender’s IP Address or the sending SMTP server’s IP Address. Also
nowadays, if you send e-mails from yahoo or hotmail or mail4india you may
find a header X-Originator: IP Address or Received from: IP Address to
find the IP address of the sender. If sender is behind the proxy/firewall,
it shows the IP Address of the proxy server/firewall. |

|
I want to keep a copy of all my
e-mails on the server. How do I go about it? |
| |
This can be done using the options available in your e-mail
client. For example in Microsoft Outlook Express, this option can be set
under Tools->Accounts->Properties->Advanced. Please don’t forget
to delete e-mails from the server time to time in order to maintain your
mailbox under 20 Mega Bytes. |

|
While reading my emails, on some
messages, I can see junk characters and the message size too is big.
Why? |
| |
This is most probably a virus infected email attachment,
which webmail didn’t encode and displayed it in text format. You must
delete such mails and ask sender to resend it in zip format if it is
important. |

|
|
I am getting new messages in the
middle of the page instead of top of the page when my inbox is sorted date
wise. Why? |
| |
A folder is sorted in two ways 1) Sender’s Date wise and 2)
Delivery Date wise and we can choose ascending or descending from personal
settings. In case it is sorted date wise, it means sender’s date wise so
if sender’s system date is not correct then the message will always be
placed on top. So to avoid such problem always use Delivery-Date wise
sorting which is also the default one. |
| |
|
|
Can I download the FOLDERS I
created in my web mailbox? |
| |
Yes, you can download all the folders. For downloading
Inbox, you will need to use your e-mail client such as Netscape or Outlook
Express. Rest of the folders can be downloaded directly from Folders
->downloads link. These folders can be viewed using Netscape Messenger
(even while off line). To do so, store these folders in Netscape’s mail
storage directory. For example: for Windows NT: they can be stored in
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\default\Mail and when you start Netscape
messenger after copying those folder files in the desired location, you
can see your webmail folders. Using Outlook Express, you can import from
Netscape folders. |
